Pilates can help you achieve a longer leaner body, build strength and flexibility and gain body and breath awareness. Increase balance, and a sense of well-being is achieved by focusing on precise controlled movements on specialized equipment, all within the privacy of the studio.
Some of the many benefits of Pilates are:
· Greater mind-body awareness
· Core stability and balance
· Increased flexibility and agility
· Relief of pain and tension
· Improves posture & coordination
· Increased circulation
· Stronger, longer, leaner muscles
· Enhanced performance (running, tennis, golf, life!)
We use exercise techniques to lengthen your body, improve posture, enhance flexibility, and strengthen your whole body. You work against spring resistance on the Reformer, which adds a whole new level of strength training to Pilates.
The Pilates chair resembles a box with one side that can be pressed down against the resistance of springs, like a large pedal. Exercises are performed lying, sitting, and standing on the chair, as well as from positions to the sides of the chair. A truly challenging workout!
Tower of Power Class
We supply the tower you will be the power!
The “tower” utilizes spring tension to both aid the client as well as to add challenge. The tower utilizes spring-based resistance with the push-through bar, roll back bar, leg springs and arm springs to challenge and strengthen the entire body.
Pilates benefits everyone men, women, young, old, fit or injured.
It is a conditioning program that provides simultaneous stretching and strengthening of the deep abdominal and back muscles. Enhancing postural integrity and trunk stability that builds trim, toned bodies. This resistance control method focuses on developing and rehabilitating total body strength and flexibility.
Prevent injuries by increasing core strength, improving balance and by establishing a solid foundation, building your core strength from the inside out!
